Dear NEMA Residents,
Now more than ever, the health and wellness of our community is our top priority. We continue to seek out additional measures that can be implemented to deal with the current situation, to supplement the various policies, technology advancements, and resident service initiatives that we have crafted to make residents as safe and comfortable as reasonably possible. To that end, we have added an initiative that we would like to explain.
We have been able to hire on-site medical professionals to take the temperature of all non-residents who enter the building, including on-site staff, guests, vendors, and delivery personnel. The on-site medical professional will be in the Lobby from 7:00 am until 11:00 pm each day, at a minimum. No non-residents will be allowed inside the building outside of these hours. Should any non-resident have a temperature of 100.4 or greater (CDC guidelines), they will not be permitted in the building.
In other news, we moved the printer that was located in the CoWork space on the 16th floor to a new location directly across from the Package Room on the 2nd floor. Residents may now print documents 24 hours per day by following the easy "Print With Me" instructions located above the printer.
Speaking of packages, the number of deliveries arriving at NEMA on a daily basis has increased dramatically as more residents are staying home. We ask that you please be mindful of this upswing and retrieve any packages you receive from FedEx, UPS, Amazon and the like in a timely manner. This also applies to food and grocery deliveries received in the lobby as well, as shelving space is limited.
Lastly, thank you on behalf of the entire NEMA team for your understanding, care, and consideration for not only your neighbors but also the staff members who work at the building on a daily basis. These unprecedented times call for a renewed sense of focus and spirit of community, and we appreciate your efforts to maintain both of these ideals.
