The Real Deal reported in February that new apartment construction is at a post-recession high this year, and NEMA Chicago is leading the charge with 800 new South Loop rentals. The Rafael Viñoly-designed tower is part of developer Crescent Height’s award-winning NEMA brand, which launched in San Francisco in 2013 and will go bicoastal this year with a location in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood. The NEMA tower in Chicago is located on the edge of Grant Park, giving residents fantastic views of Downtown and Lake Michigan from their luxury rental homes and throughout the tower’s suite of top-of-the-line amenities spaces.
